We’re ‘over the moon’ that Keld Head has been designated Dark Skies Friendly by the North York Moors National Park.
We are so fortunate to be just on the edge of town, surrounded by fields and no overhead streetlights. A perfect combination for gazing at our gorgeous night sky. We even have handy little guides to help you spot The Plough, Orion’s Belt, the North Star and more. So why not take full advantage of natures night time beauty and spend your evenings gazing at stars, you might even see our resident owl gliding across the fields.
