#englishtourismweek25 is now well underway, we’re showcasing all our little corner of Yorkshire has to offer, we’ve covered thrill seekers and foodies so now its time for those that want a feel for old England, North Yorkshire is a blanket of quaint old towns and villages all with their own little quirks, ginnels, becks and ancient markets..

Our network of quaint villages and towns are a far cry from big cities and chain shops. All individual in their own little way and we can guarantee there’s something for all the family. Castles, Markets, Museums, Parks, Independent shops and Cafes, Craft workshops and you never know you might be lucky enough to stumble across a village show or maybe a horsey event like polo and point to point.
A couple of must visit places we think aren’t to be missed are Helmsley complete with Castle, bookshops, Victorian Walled Garden and the beck perfect for paddling in on a warm day.
Maybe you fancy somewhere larger than Helmsley but not quite as big as York, try Malton, the food capital of Yorkshire, there’s too many independent shops to mention and the even roast there own coffee there at Roost and Malton is the home to the famous macaron shop, visited by the King and the Hairy Bikers, so they must be good!!

We have you covered, there’s too many nice places to mention but hope that’s sparked your wanderlust and inspired you to choose Keld Head for your next holiday
